Trexler will lead Vested’s South Florida practice

New York, NY – Financial marketing and communications firm Vested has hired Abby Trexler as a Managing Director based in New York and Miami. In this role, Trexler will oversee several of Vested’s US-based accounts and lead the firm’s growing practice in South Florida, focusing on Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Palm Beach.

Miami, a growing hub for financial services, ranked 7th nationally and 24th globally in the latest edition of the Global Financial Centres Index, is a natural fit as Vested expands its footprint.

Trexler brings 20+ years of strategic consulting, media relations, marketing, and crisis communications experience. She has worked with brands across all aspects of financial services, including banking, asset management, wealth management, private capital, insurance, payments, and fintech. Previous and current clients include Apex, Invesco, S&P Global, Principal Financial Group, Wilmington Trust, BNY Mellon, Pershing, Fiserv, The Hartford, and more. At the core of her strategic methodology lies a focus on articulating intricate subject matter with clarity, crafting engaging narratives, and adeptly counseling executives as they navigate nuanced communication challenges.

She joins Vested from Edelman Smithfield, where she served as an Executive Vice President, and Head of the New York Financial Services team. Previously, Trexler spent seven years with Peppercom and Hot Paper Lantern, leading their financial and professional services businesses.
