On the heels of International Women’s Day, it seems only fitting one of our incredibly talented and hard-working female team members is recognized for her efforts. Our VP Jacqueline Gogel was named a PR News Rising PR Star for 2017. We made the announcement yesterday.
This year, PR News said it looked for a combination of qualities in its candidates: leadership potential, professional growth, campaign innovation, success at media pitching, and relationship-building skills.
Jac came to us shortly after we started in 2015, and has been instrumental to our growth and success. She’s worked on campaigns for both traditional institutions and fintech brands such as Diebold Nixdorf, PeerStreet and Better Mortgage, to elevate the profiles of the companies and their leaders.
“From day one, Jac has seen to it that the agency does anything and everything it can to fiercely provide value to us,” said Taylor Salditch, VP of Marketing for Better Mortgage, a Vested client.
“The team has been a delight to work with and is a key part of our plans for 2018 and beyond. In 2018, Better Mortgage surpassed more than $1 billion in mortgage originations since its founding in 2016; and was the third-fasted online lender to reach that metric, following Goldman Sachs venture Marcus, and SoFi. We’re thrilled Jac and Vested could be a part of its success.”
Jac’s recognition as a Rising PR Star joins a number of exciting agency accomplishments over the past year—including our recognition in PRWeek’s Best Places to Work list, and our recent acquisition of London-based Templars Communications.
But these accolades are more than just plaques to hang on the wall for us; they’re a reminder that Vested is comprised of a cohesive, multi-disciplined and downright smart group of individuals, and their talents and passion are integral to our success as a whole.
Hats off to Jac. We’re lucky to have you on board!
