The Demise of the myRA

I’m writing an article for U.S. News & World Report about the shutting down of the myRA program (a type of IRA designed for people who didn’t have 401(k)’s or other retirement vehicles through work). I’m looking to hear from financial experts (especially those who specialize in middle and lower class clientele) who can talk about what impact this will have for retirement savers – and what would you suggest people do (who have a myRA, or what should those do who don’t but were thinking about it and now need to try to find a low-cost, relatively easy way to save for retirement). Also, if anyone reading this has a myRA and wouldn’t mind sharing what you plan to do and what you think of this decision by the Treasury Department, I’d be happy to hear from you, too.
