Women Are Increasingly Household Breadwinners, but Some Don’t Want the Responsibility

Data shows that 90 percent of U.S. women will be the household breadwinner at least once in their lives, but data also shows they have high angst over taking financial responsibility and are unprepared to inherit wealth or pass their own wealth on to loved ones. It’s up to financial advisors to step on, share some financial realities and lead women clients to a better place, financially and estate planning-wise. I need financial experts to discuss ways to work with women who may be anxious about handling an inheritance and in taking the lead household role as financial manager.
