I’m writing a piece about apps or web platforms that allow consumers to see their various bank accounts/credit cards/savings all in one place. Current services include OnTrees, MoneyHub, MoneyDashboard, Yolt etc. I am looking for some expert quotes from internet/financial security experts on the security of these apps/platforms. How does Yodlee work? What happens if it’s hacked? Could your bank refuse to reimburse you in the event of fraud if you’ve let a third party app access your account? Will PSD2 mean we see more third party finance platforms launching? Please note this piece is focussed on personal finance, not business. Thanks.
