I’m writing an article for “U.S. News & World Report” about the financial steps that anyone should take when they leave a job (whether due to accepting another job or being fired). For instance, if you have a 401(k), you may want to move it to your new employer’s plan or roll it over into an IRA. But there are presumably other important financial strategies one should take. So if you’re a financial advisor or human resources expert or perhaps someone who recently changed jobs and made some money decision you’re particularly pleased about, and have advice or an anecdote, please feel free to drop me a line.
