I’m looking for credit and money management experts to weigh in on whether credit during retirement. Does you score still matter when you’re likely past the stage of getting a mortgage or needing to borrow money? Why or why not? What are some reasons you would still need a good credit score during retirement? How does some people’s credit get hurt later in life (i.e., they no longer use credit cards so scores go down)? If you notice your credit score has dropped in retirement, what can you do to boost it? What else should retirees be doing to monitor and maintain their credit as they age?
