I am looking for experts from the financial planning world, the collectibles world and the appraisal world to speak about the value of collectibles. Are items like baseball cards, Barbies and Hummel figurines really worth anything towards a retirement nest egg? Which collectibles have retained their value –Stingray bicycles, Granddad’s war souvenirs Civil War era artifacts? I would also love to hear from retirees who have cashed in collectibles and have an interesting story to tell about the experience.
