It’s been a great week for Vested’s people.
We were recently recognized as the fastest-growing public relations agency in the world by Holmes Report in its annual agency rankings. Vested grew 317 percent year over year in 2016, growing faster than the next-fastest growing firm by a factor of three.
Then, on Tuesday, Vested took home the SABRE Award for New Agency of the Year. This is a tremendous honor that validates the strong management, hard work, and good judgment of our teams.
The announcement stated:
Vested’s spectacular growth (up 317% in 2016 to $3.5m) is underpinned by a commitment to understanding the transformation underway in the financial industry. As technology changes the way people think about financial services, Vested has focused on helping banks, asset managers and other institutions navigate this shift, resulting in significant assignments from Axioma, Backstop Solutions, Bloomberg, Carbon Trade Exchange, Elevate, Golub Capital, Investopedia, MoneyLion, PeerStreet and Xenomorph, along with new business from Clarity Money, D+H, Diebold Nixdorf, The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, Misys, Oakam, Quantitative Brokers, Rockefeller & Co., SmartBiz Loans and WorldRemit.
I’d like to directly recognize Reis Group, the other finalist in the New Agency of the Year category. Reis Group specializes in public education campaigns, science promotion, and advocacy relations to bring attention to issues that matter. That work — that commitment to facts and information — is of particular importance today.
Broadly, the Global Communications Report, research that is issued in conjunction with the Holmes Report rankings and the SABRE Awards, finds: ”both in-house communicators (69%) and marketers (67%) cite strategic insights as one of the critical reasons for working with PR agencies, while similar numbers (69% of in-house PR people and 64% of marketers) cite creative thinking.” Read the full report here.
